Syllable namizne aplikacije

Če morda iščete aplikacije za Syllable Server, kliknite tukaj. Binarni paketi aplikacij za Syllable Desktop ne delujejo na Syllable Server in obratno (z izjemo nekateri tekstovnih skript).

Najlažji način nameščanja nove programske opreme v Syllable so programski paketi. Programi so grafični programi, ki jih nadzirate z miško. Programski paketi izdani od Syllable so kompresirani z Zip programom in so lahko razpakirani in pognani od kjerkoli. To lahko storite v ukaznem pozivu tako, da oprete program ATerm in vpišete naslednje ukaze.

Najprej odpakirajte paket. Če paketa niste shranili v domač direktorij, ampak, na primer na namizje, pojdite tja:

cd Desktop

Sedaj odpakiratje paket, z uporabo njegovega imena:

unzip name-version.application

Nekatere aplikacije so v eni datoteki, ampak večina jih ima več datotek in so shranjene v mapi. Če ste odpakirali paket na namizje, boste videli novo ikono za aplikacijo na namizju. Če se pojavi mapa, bi morala imeti enako ime, kot aplikacija. Aplikacijo odprete tako, da kliknete na njeno ikono na namizju, ali odprete mapo in potem kliknete na ikono aplikacije.

Aplikacije ali mape lahko premikate kamorkoli po trdem disku, če je bil formatiran s Syllable AFS formatom. Mapa "Applications" na vašem namizju je posebna. Če vanjo spustite aplikacije, bodo prestavljene v direktorij /Applications/ na trdem disku, prav tako pa se bodo pojavile v menuju na namizju.

Xpdf is an open source viewer for Portable Document Format (PDF) files. (These are also sometimes also called 'Acrobat' files, from the name of Adobe's PDF software.) The Xpdf project also includes a PDF text extractor, PDF-to-PostScript converter, and various other utilities.

Xpdf is designed to be small and efficient. It can use Type 1, TrueType, or standard X fonts.
